Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is an Indian educational organisation founded by Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil in 1919. It is first widder education sociaty in the world . Its aim was to provide education to students who, due to caste, religion of economic status, had not previously had the opportunity. The organization has its headquarters in Satara.
The first school, which was of "Earn & Learn" concept, was started at a village named Kale from Karad taluka of Satara district by Karmaveer Bhaurao in 1919. Today, the Sanstha has 40 colleges, 17 post-graduate colleges, 439 Secondary Schools, 8 Training Colleges,26 Primary Schools, 18 Pre-Primary Schools, 68 Cosmopolitan hostels, 7 Administrative Offices, 8 Ashramshalas, 2 ITI, 1 Engineering Collage and 60 Ancillary branches. Marutirao Dagaduj Tidake Patil Vidyalaya Chas nali belongs to Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.
